The MV3 is a 4 cylinder, 5-speed transmission that was designed and built as a collaboration between American Car manufacturer, General Motors, and Japanese Car Manufacturer, Suzuki. Because of the dual manufacturers, the Metro Geo had a multitude of names throughout its life including the Pontiac Firefly, Chevrolet Metro, Geo Metro, and the Suzuki Swift.
